Key School Expansion
The Key School is planning an expansion of its facility. Key shared the linked presentation at the HSIA general meeting in January, 2026. Most comments from Hillsmere residents at that meeting were related to concerns about increased traffic due to an increase in the size of the student body and/or possible disruptions during the construction phase.

HSIA Board Candidate Bios, Ballot, and Voting Instructions
Board of directors election
This November, we will be electing our seven board members to serve a two-year term (2026 and 2027). Please see the important voting instructions (including information on HSIA’s use of a third-party election firm), official ballot, and candidate bios.
If you cannot attend the General meeting, we are offering the option to vote by mail, vote by email to nominations@hillsmereshores.org, or drop off the ballot in the locked ballot box at the Community House at 119 Great Lake Drive. Absentee ballots must be received by close of business Wednesday, November 12. Please remember that ballots that are not dropped off in person require the signature of the HSIA member.
Also remember, HSIA dues payment is not a household vote. Only the person listed under “Individual Membership” on the HSIA Membership form can vote if $25 dues was paid. Additional memberships require additional dues payment. If you can’t remember which person in the household is the voting member, please contact the Administrator at admin@hillsmereshores.org or 410-263-4456. Anyone paying $25 dues that is not on the tax record must provide a copy of their driver’s license. Dues payment must be received by close of business on Wednesday, November 5, for voting in the election.
