Hillsmere Happy Hour

Our last Happy Hour of the season on Saturday, September 10. Highlighted at this Happy Hour will be a live blues band managed by Hillsmere Shores resident Tom O’Brien. For this special event, the Hillsmere Shores Improvement Association’s Board of Directors approved exceptions to two existing Beach rules to allow amplified music (ref Rule 2.27) and to occupy the Beach after sunset (ref Rule 2.23) to accommodate the September 10 event for Hillsmere Shores’ residents and their guests to enjoy. The September 10 Beach Happy Hour, featuring the Moxie Blues Band, led by Hillsmere resident Tom O’Brien, will be from 5:00 to 8:30 pm. Tom has offered the services of his band for this community wide event. The six-member Band
collectively brings decades of musical and performing experience to the stage. Their variety of Blues, Blues Rock, Funk and Southern Rock will bring a unique musical experience to our community. Noel Gasparin will coordinate the volunteers to purchase and prepare the food for the Happy Hour, and residents are
asked to bring a chair, a covered side dish to share, and their favorite adult beverage. NO GLASS at BEACH!
