DESCRIPTION:**UPDATE** \nHillsmere Residents\,\n  \nMark your calendars – HSIA General Membership meeting this Thursday\, September 8 @ 7pm-9pm will be held in Katharine Hall at the Key School (campus map).\n  \nPlease note\, parking will be limited as Key School is having Back to School Night the same evening. There is limited parking for Katharine Hall off of Mansion Drive. Parking may be available in the lot near the Barn.\n  \nThe HSIA Board is pleased to announce that we now are providing a hybrid option for attending general meetings. We would prefer to see residents in person\, but providing a virtual option will hopefully allow for more residents to participate. To attend the meeting online\, please email communications@hillsmereshores.org for log in information.\n \n \nThe HSIA Board is pleased to announce that we now are providing a hybrid option for attending general meetings. We have resumed in-person meetings at the Key School “Barn” for both our regular HSIA Board Meetings as well as the HSIA General Meetings. SUMMARY:Hillsmere Happy Hour
DESCRIPTION:Our last Happy Hour of the season on Saturday\, September 10. Highlighted at this Happy Hour will be a live blues band managed by Hillsmere Shores resident Tom O’Brien. For this special event\, the Hillsmere Shores Improvement Association’s Board of Directors approved exceptions to two existing Beach rules to allow amplified music (ref Rule 2.27) and to occupy the Beach after sunset (ref Rule 2.23) to accommodate the September 10 event for Hillsmere Shores’ residents and their guests to enjoy. The September 10 Beach Happy Hour\, featuring the Moxie Blues Band\, led by Hillsmere resident Tom O’Brien\, will be from 5:00 to 8:30 pm. Tom has offered the services of his band for this community wide event. The six-member Band\ncollectively brings decades of musical and performing experience to the stage. Their variety of Blues\, Blues Rock\, Funk and Southern Rock will bring a unique musical experience to our community. Noel Gasparin will coordinate the volunteers to purchase and prepare the food for the Happy Hour\, and residents are\nasked to bring a chair\, a covered side dish to share\, and their favorite adult beverage. NO GLASS at BEACH!
