The December meeting included discussions on the Shoreline Protection and Restoration Committee and a petition to the County for deer management. Since the meeting was held\, the Chesapeake Bay Trust approved an application for a $2500 Anne Arundel County Community Mini-Planting Grant. HSIA will match the funds and 500 trees and shrubs will be planted during Earth Week with the help of Arundel Rivers Federation and Key School students.
