SUMMARY:Environmental Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Environmental Committee will hold regular meetings the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm in Room 102 of the Key School Science and Library Center (January 14\, February 11\, etc.). The December meeting included discussions on the Shoreline Protection and Restoration Committee and a petition to the County for deer management. Since the meeting was held\, the Chesapeake Bay Trust approved an application for a $2500 Anne Arundel County Community Mini-Planting Grant. HSIA will match the funds and 500 trees and shrubs will be planted during Earth Week with the help of Arundel Rivers Federation and Key School students.
